2014年广州小英赛基本分数分布沿用了往年的结构,仍然是听力占据50%的分数,而笔试部分占据另外50%的分数。与往年不同的新变革就是,笔试的题型减少了,往年出现的翻译与写作题型今年不再出现,取而代之的,则是2篇完型填空以及三篇阅读理解。对考生而言,整体难度是逐渐降低了的,但进一步考验了考生的考场稳定度。要想脱颖而出,稳中方可求胜。

先从笔试部分开始,作为综合类题型,无论是完型填空还是阅读理解,对于考生的词汇量要求都是比较高的。同时对文段的提炼技能及常见动词短语的表达也是考察的重点方向。
